Overview:

This role involves working within a regionally organized IT Infrastructure team, with main regional centers located in major cities around the world. The IT Infrastructure team maintains a global focus while using regional organizations to service local business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining existing Servers and automatically delivering new Servers
• Collaborating in an international environment with a Windows platform team based in our main office
• Potential travel to other key locations as necessary

Ideal Technology Stack:

• Windows server administration skills, with a focus on remote management
• Proficiency with virtualization tools (VMWare)
• Experience with backup and restore technologies (TSM and Veeam)
• Understanding of compliance responsibilities (SoX, Qualys, PQI, PSD, Cyberark, audits)
• Expertise with the System Center Suite (SCOM, SCCM, SCVMM)
• Advanced Scripting and operations skills using PowerShell
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies (Azure Arc)
• Knowledge of automation tools, particularly Ansible

Desirable Knowledge:

• Security standards and best practices
• Firewalls and Switches
• Capacity and performance monitoring/management (Turbonomics)
• Disaster recovery and Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
• Document management

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in a comparable environment, preferably within the financial sector
• Proven experience in supporting Windows server in a large, mostly virtualized environment
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum frameworks and methodologies
