Vulnerability Information Security Specialist - Qualys

We're seeking a seasoned Security Specialist with a deep understanding of Vulnerability management and strong security skills. This is a project focused role where you be working with the client to prepare them to move to the cloud, by ensuring their environment is set up securely.

Responsibilities:

• Utilise your expertise to interpret data from Qualys, our Vulnerability Scanning Tool, to identify potential security vulnerabilities within our systems.
• Evaluate the severity of vulnerabilities discovered and prioritise them based on their potential impact, providing clear recommendations to enhance our security posture.
• Package information in a concise and understandable manner, empowering various technology teams to take proactive measures.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience working with Qualys or similar vulnerability scanning tools, showcasing your ability to navigate and extract valuable insights from these platforms.
• Possess a solid technical foundation either as or collaborating closely with infrastructure, network, and application engineers.
• Qualys and/or Security Certifications are highly desirable.
