IT Remote Site Coordinator (Contract/Permanent)

IT Remote Site Co-ordinator

Initial 6 month FTC - potential to extend

Hybrid working (1 day a week onsite in Warwick)

Salary: Circa £36,000 per annum

My high profile Utilities client requires an enthusiastic candidate to support a large programme of work to refresh network equipment at its remote sites. Working as part of a delivery team under the direction of a Project Manager, this exciting role involves liaison with our networks delivery partner and the Client's Operations' team to carry out site work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • and coordinate site visits for network surveys and installations of new equipment across 180 gas remote sites around the UK, ensuring alignment with critical national infrastructure requirements.
  • effective communications and coordination with multiple third parties to facilitate timely and successful site activities. This involves telephone, email and MS Teams engagement.
  • administration services to support the swap out of critical network assets by the field engineering team to ensure high standards of precision and compliance. This includes producing documentation, processing results, organising reviews and accurate electronic storage.
  • supply chain processes and proactively identifying ways to improve them.
  • accurate records and tracking of work in progress, including costs.
  • identify risks and issues when required in the project.
  • progress reports, project updates and performance metrics using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of coordinating logistics and site operations, including administration support, preferably within IT, telecommunications, or utilities.
  • Experience in handling complex telephone communications and coordinating multiple delivery partners and other stakeholders.
  • Experience of progress chasing and producing meaningful status reports and performance metrics
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively in a remote setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications.
